Overview
The Plustek SecureScan X150 is a compact and stylish MRTDs (Machine Readable Travel Documents) reader, it support TD1, TD2 and MRP (Passport) sizes scanning within second.
Main Features and Functionality:

  • Auto recognize multiple document sizes for ID card or passport
  • Up to true 500dpi high resolution image output in 24-bit Color
  • 3 different wavelength illuminations: Visible, IR (Infra-Red) and UV (Ultraviolet)
  • For MRZ recognition, MRTDs Reader SDK included in the package
  • USB 2.0 Hub (2 ports) is integrated for connecting external devices (Web-Cam for facial recognition, finger-print scanner or Keyboard…etc)
  • Document images can be saved as BMP and JPEG file formats
  • Recognition results can be output in .txt, .xml, .csv and QR code multiple formats
  • Support full range of Windows OS (XP / Vista / 7 / 8)

    Supporting TD1/TD2/TD3/TDV document size scanning.

    To capture and verify relevant data of all international passports, as well as standard size plastic ID cards, drivers licenses, health insurance cards and other small size documents.
  3. 3 light sources: Visible, Infrared (IR) and Ultraviolet (UV)
    To meet the rules of each countries on travel documents, like UV overprint and IR drop-out.
  4. Auto-Detect of document type, document size, and 2 seconds Quick-Scan with OCR
    To reduce check-in time, increase traffic flow and accurate customer profile data. It only takes approximately 2 seconds from scan to show (including photo on screen).
  5. Easy to integrate Identity Management Systems
    Plustek offers SDKs to system integrators upgrading existing or developing new identity management system.
  6. Scalability of extra devices like AFIS & facial recognition via USB hub
    User may easily extend recognition system like fingerprint, facial recognition via built-in USB hub; 2 extra USB ports are available.
